The International Scientific Committee of the Medis Awards for Medical Research has reviewed 251 scientific contributions. Of these, 197 met the eligibility criteria, earning their authors a nomination for the International Medis Awards. From this group, the Committee selected 18 finalists; two from each field. The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on 13 March 2025 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Doctors and pharmacists who have published their scientific research contributions in reputable scientific publications with an impact factor higher than 1.500 were eligible to take part in the International Medis Awards.

This time, 251 research articles from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia were submitted. Among them, 197 applications met all high criteria for their authors to become nominees of the International Medis Awards.

The awards ceremony will take place on 13 March 2025 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
