The International Scientific Committee, composed of esteemed specialists, independently reviews and evaluates the research works submitted for the International Medis Awards. Each member is appointed based on their extensive expertise and experience in their respective fields.

To ensure objectivity and incorporate fresh scientific insights, the committee members serve limited terms of three years. This approach helps maintain the highest standards of evaluation and recognize significant contributions to research.

For the mandate period 2024–2027, the new committee members were appointed this June. Get to know them.

The president of the Committee, Prof. Borut Štrukelj, MSc Pharm, PhD, serves a four-year term.
